      With over 15 years of experience in the industry, Tyler’s journey began with a burning desire to create a place where customers could find reliable and trustworthy repairs. His passion for excellence is evident in every aspect of our shop, from the meticulous attention to detail in our work to the exceptional customer service we provide.

      Tyler grew up surrounded by fellow tinkerers and motorheads, like his father, uncles, and pap, who built his own racecar. He spent countless hours admiring their trucks and learning how to work on them. Even as a young boy he would fix and race his go-cart and was passionate to learn the skills to give a top-notch paintjob. Growing up in a family of craftsmen, he quickly learned the value of dedication and perseverance. These values have been instrumental in shaping his approach to running Poorman’s.

      Tyler firmly believes that success is built on a foundation of honest work. He leads by example, putting in long hours and going the extra mile to ensure that every repair is done to the highest standards. He constantly strives to improve his skills and stay updated with the latest advancements in the industry, ensuring that our shop offers cutting-edge repair and paint solutions.

      Beyond his technical expertise, Tyler is also a deeply committed tinkerer. From fixing a 5’ tall metal flamingo, sharpening mower blades or fixing an ambulance – each project gets the same amount of enthusiasm and attention to detail. He is driven by the satisfaction of seeing a customer's smile when their vehicle is restored to its optimal condition, or a design dream has come to fruition. For him, it's not just about fixing cars; it's about building trust and lasting relationships with our customers. That’s why he takes pride in being a part of the process from start to finish and believes that his true job is working for the customer, not himself.

      In his spare time, Tyler enjoys spending time with his wife and twin boys, hunting, hiking with his bloodhound and knocking back a few cold ones. Whether he’s on the clock or not, he can often be found bringing tools on a vacation ‘just in case’ or digging the largest hole possible ‘just because’.
